Possible Acts

Based on the survey results we have a list of available acts from our booking agent. The list is very much subject to change, and in no way does an acts presence or absence on the list actually imply that the will actually be available for our date or within the constraints of our budget. The prices listed are estimates at best, and generally reflect the minimum asking price for an act. A plus sign following a price indicates that the actual offer price will probably need to be significantly higher than the one listed on the sheet. Further, acts marked with ‘call for information’ are way outside of our price range.

We are posting this list for your information. To give you an idea both of what is available and how much it might cost. We will perform additional surveys in the coming days to further narrow the field. Please leave your comments regarding the information here using the comments link.

We are presenting information about the top two genres selected.

That having been said, on to the pdfs:
Comedy
Rock

There are other altneratives. They are available here be aware that we are capping the maximum act cost at $30,000. Suggestions beyond this level will be ignored. Acts not available in the Spring will be ignored. Links to you're best friends amazing local band will also, likely, be ignored.

Flame On!

if you pick a band like slightly stoopid, ratdog, medeski or gov't mule, your gonna get people driving from all over the state and probably out of state to come to the show, these bands have HUGE followings, ticket sales would be through the roof. This is the music that college kids listen to.

if you pick a band like sugarcult or matchbook romance, you'll have potsdam highschool lining up for tickets. this is the music that immature brats listen to, or people that dont know anything about music.

reel big fish puts on an amazing show, but we already had them. less than jake is great if the year is 1998. dropkick murphys are only good IN boston.

lets show some class, lets have a decent concert for the first time in over 5 years.

compare the turn out to the eve6 concert here, to the turn out of the medeski martin and wood concert at state. empty ice rink versus packed house.

If you're looking for a sick act, with a very low expense, Try Dropping Daylight. They've been on tour with Breaking Benjamin over the summer and their sound is incredible. Why, also, are bands like A.F.I., My Chemical Romance, Panic! At The Disco, Underoath, or some of the other Warped Tour favorites not on the list (Aiden, Silverstein, etc)
